Chris Tomlinson – “Tomlinson Hill”

As a boy, journalist Chris Tomlinson knew that he was a descendant of slave owners, but had no idea what that legacy really meant. After spending 11 years reporting on war and conflict for the Associated Press, Tomlinson decided to visit his family’s Texas plantation and research its history. The result is a new book, “Tomlinson Hill: The Remarkable Story of Two Families Who Share the Tomlinson Name – One White, One Black.” Tomlinson joins us to share the tale.
