Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu returned to Washington this week for the first time since his controversial, and ultimately unsuccessful, attempt to block the Iran nuclear deal. Award-winning journalist, author, and foreign policy analyst Rula Jebreal joins us to discuss the global implications of U.S.-Israel relations and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

As schools place greater emphasis on science, technology, engineering and math – the so-called STEM curriculum – courses in the arts and humanities are often neglected.  Laura Skandera Trombley, president of The Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens, joins us to discuss the importance of arts and humanities education.

Film and television star Dick Van Dyke is also a bestselling author. He joins us in advance of his 90th birthday in December to talk about his long career and his new book, “Keep Moving and Other Tips and Truths About Aging.”
