Mother Dolores Hart

Dolores Hart was on her way to stardom after making her film debut opposite Elvis Presley in 1957’s “Loving You”. In 1963, she shocked Hollywood when she decided to become a cloistered Benedictine nun. Fifty years later, Mother Dolores Hart is prioress of the Abbey of Regina Laudis in Bethlehem, CT. She tells her life story in a memoir, “The Ear of the Heart: An Actress’ Journey from Hollywood to Holy Vows”.
