In some parts of the world, the word honor can mask oppression, subjugation, mutilation and murder. Those themes are explored in the documentary film “Honor Diaries”, which chronicles abuses against women and girls including child marriages, genital mutilation and honor killings. Zainab Khan, a licensed clinical therapist in Chicago, is featured in the film and joins us. |
